TRAIL RIDES
Come experience the beauty of the San Juan National Forest on horseback!
Our trail rides offer access to some of the most scenic views in Pagosa Springs.
We have horses to fit every level of riding experience, from beginner to advanced. ​

Our 2026 season runs from May 25 - August 14th.
We're closed on Sundays to give our four-legged friends a rest.​​
Rides depart at 9:00 am, 11:30 am, and 2:00 pm.
Please arrive 30 minutes before your ride so we can get you saddled up and ready to go.​

Reservations required.
250 lb. weight limit.
Please wear long pants and closed-toe shoes.

FOR PARENTS OF YOUNG RIDERS
Riders must be 7 years old
One person per horse- no double riding allowed.
Helmets available upon request.
Riders under 16 must be accompanied by adult.
Riders under 18 must provide written parental consent.

Directions to Riding Stable
This is a remote location without cellular services, so please don't rely on your mobile phone
or GPS device. Instead, follow these directions.

​​​​​​​​​​ We are located next to the Bruce Spruce Ranch.
From HWY 160, turn at the sign pictured here.
-If coming from Pagosa Springs on HWY 160,
the sign will be on your left after mile marker 158.
Turn left onto the West Fork Forest Service Road.
​
-If coming from South Fork or Wolf Creek Pass,
the sign will be about 1 mile past Treasure Falls,
and right after the West Fork Road sign.
Turn right onto the West Fork Service Road.
​
​ From the West Fork Service Road, you will enter
the Bruce Spruce Ranch. Continue through the camp-
grounds, cross the bridge, and you will see this
sign on your left. We are located at the end of
the lane.
